Anthony Bland Jr. is the owner of Green Essentials Farm based in Tunica, Mississippi. He is continuing a strong family legacy rooted in agriculture and a deep passion for farming.

AJ is a graduate of Mississippi State University, where he studied Agribusiness and Accounting, earning a bachelor’s degree in both fields. After graduating, AJ returned home in 2022 to work alongside his father, Anthony Bland Sr., owner of Muddy Rivers Farm, further strengthening the family’s agricultural foundation.

Rooted in family tradition, AJ discovered his passion for farming at an early age through his father, Anthony Bland Sr., and his uncle, James Bland Jr. With each passing year, his skills and love for agriculture continued to grow, shaping both his work ethic and his dedication to the land.

Today, AJ grows rice and soybeans along with a wide variety of produce, including purple hull peas, corn, watermelon, and more. In addition to farming, he also serves as a photographer and equipment modifier, bringing creativity and innovation to the operation.

With a strong passion for agriculture, AJ is dedicated to inspiring and educating the next generation of farmers while continuing to grow and evolve Green Essentials Farm.
